Art, at its simplest, is a form of communication. As most forms of communication have an intent or goal directed toward another individual, this is a motivated purpose. We at NRJH promote various Japanese and Indian art forms and teach those at our HUB. The art form help individuals in their personal and professional lives. Amongst many art forms that we promote, a few of them are Origami, Ikebana, Bonsai, Martial Arts etc.
Bonsai Corner
“Bonsai" translates to "planted in a container" in Japanese. Bonsai trees are carefully nurtured and shaped over time to create a harmonious and balanced representation of nature in a small scale.
Ikebana
Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, where flowers and other plant materials are carefully composed to create a harmonious and balanced floral display. Ikebana, also known as "Kado," meaning "the way of flowers," is not simply about arranging flowers in a vase but is a profound art form that embodies principles of aesthetics, mindfulness, and symbolism.
Japanese Martial Arts
Japanese martial arts, collectively known as "Budo," have a rich history and are renowned for their disciplined training methods, technical precision, and philosophical principles. Martial arts in Japan encompass a wide range of disciplines, each with its unique techniques, philosophies, and training methodologies.
Origami
Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, where a single sheet of paper is transformed into various shapes and forms through precise folding techniques. The word "origami" comes from the Japanese words "ori," meaning folding, and "kami," meaning paper. This ancient art form has captivated people worldwide with its simplicity, elegance, and creative possibilities.
